We are pleased to announce the launch of the Letter of Intent for the following LBRN Fund Proposals competitions.
Letter of Intent (LOI) Deadline: September 6, 2019 at 4:30pm.
Internal Submission Deadlines: Monday, October 21, 2019.

2019 LBRN-BioMMED Illumina Training
LBRN/BioMMED is having a 3-day Illumina training schedule that will begin on Tuesday, August 27th (Day 1 on the schedule), Wednesday, August 28th (Day 2), and Thursday, August 29th (Day 3). This training is provided by Illumina for the newly acquired MiSeq and NextSeq sequencing instruments.

The Summer Undergraduate Research Forum (SURF), will be held Friday, July 26th, 2019 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm in LSU’s Union’s Cotillion Ballroom. All is welcome.

2019 LBRN Pine Biotech Summer Bioinformatics Program
The Louisiana Biomedical Research Network (LBRN) is happy to announce registration for the second Summer Bioinformatics Training Program. The Summer Bioinformatics Training Program will focus on transcriptomics data and will support an independent or team project with workshops, online materials and a hackathon. The topics we will cover include finding and evaluating Next Generation Sequencing data, data acquisition, quality control, processing, differential analysis and interpretation.
