5th LBRN-LONI Scientific Computing Bootcamp

Scientific computing is becoming more ubiquitous for all types of research areas. Skills and knowledge that are necessary to take full advantage of the power of computing, however, are often inadequately present in both curricular and extracurricular training. The purpose of this workshop is, by both presentation and hands-on experiences, to help attendants understand the usage of popular scientific computing programming tools and prepare for their future computational study and research career.

2022 Annual Translational and Transformative Informatics Symposium

The UAB Informatics Institute and Center for Clinical and Translational Science invites you to attend the 6th Annual Translational and Transformative Informatics Symposium (ATTIS)! This year’s symposium will be held Friday, April 22 virtually on Zoom. ATTIS 2022 offers faculty, postdoc trainees, and graduate students an opportunity to report progress on the latest informatics research and applications in biomedical sciences. Keynote presentation, scientific talks, flash informatics tool presentation, educational panel, single-cell analysis and data science toolkit tutorials, poster presentations, and informatics gateways will be offered.
