The Louisiana Biomedical Research Network (LBRN) is part of a national effort to enhance biomedical research capacity in IDeA-eligible states, supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). In Louisiana, this initiative supports research infrastructure, student training, and faculty development across participating institutions.
Beyond research, LBRN is deeply committed to career development and job placement for students, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty across the state. One of the core goals of the IDeA program is to foster a robust and diverse biomedical workforce in underserved regions.
We invite our community to submit job opportunities—including internships, postdoctoral positions, faculty roles, and industry placements—that may benefit individuals currently working or studying within Louisiana’s IDeA network. These postings will help connect emerging talent with meaningful career pathways in biomedical and health-related fields.
Explore opportunities or submit a job posting to support the next generation of biomedical researchers in Louisiana.
