NIH Acknowledgement:

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) require that we acknowledge NCRR support in books, articles, abstracts and presentations that have benefited directly through BRIN/INBRE support or indirectly through the use of BRIN/INBRE resources:

Each publication, press release or other document that cites results from NIH grant-supported research must include an acknowledgment of NIH grant support and disclaimer such as

“The project described was supported by Grant Number P20RR016456 from the National Center For Research Resources. The content is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily represent the official views of the National Center For Research Resources or the National Institutes of Health.”

Award recipients are required to comply with the NIH Public Access Policy. This includes submission to PubMed Central (PMC), upon acceptance for publication, an electronic version of peer-reviewed, original research publications, resulting from research supported in whole or in part, with direct costs from National Institutes of Health. The author's final manuscript is defined as the final version accepted for journal publication, and includes all modifications from the publishing peer review process. Who is required to acknowledge NIH in presentations/publications?

 

  • You are required to acknowledge NIH with the above statement if you have received funds (salary, equipment, supplies, etc.) through the LBRN Undergraduate, Graduate and Faculty Summer and/or Academic Year Research Program from September 2002 through the present, and have presented your research and/or published a manuscript in relation to the research funded by the LBRN program(s) (Submit Presentations or Publications Information – Login Required);

     
  • You are required to acknowledge NIH with the above statement if you have participated as mentor and/or collaborator with an LBRN funded participant in the Undergraduate, Graduate or Faculty Summer and/or Academic Year Research Program from September 2002 through the present, and have presented your research and/or published a manuscript in relation to the research funded by the LBRN program(s) (Submit Presentations or Publications Information – Login Required);

     
  • You are required to acknowledge NIH with the above statement if you have utilized major equipment funded by NIH through the LBRN program, generating data for a presentation and/or publication.
