The 4th Annual Louisiana Conference on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics will be held on April 1-2, 2016 at the Xavier Convocation Center Annex Building. The conference is The conference is co-sponsored by the Louisiana Biomedical Research Network (LBRN), the LSU-Tulane Center for Experimental Infectious Disease Research (CEIDR), LSU Center for Computation and Technology (CCT) and the LSU Office of Research and Economic Development (ORED). The conference aims to expose Louisiana to the cutting edge of Computational Biology, Bioinformatics Research and Applications while also providing a platform for exchange of information and technical knowledge among Louisiana-based scientists involved in different aspects of computational biology & bioinformatics.
The Conference program includes four Keynote speakers highlighting each of four thematic sessions identified by the Scientific Committee. The meeting will provide an opportunity to exchange practical information and facilitate future collaborations among attendees. The deadline for registration and guaranteed hotel reservations is March 14th, 2016. Participants are encouraged to register early for the conference, since there is limited seating capacity.
We invite you to submit abstracts for Oral Presentation / Poster sessions at the conference. The Scientific Committee will review the abstracts and make recommendations for Oral or Poster Presentations. Selected abstracts will be included in the printed program.
